Free Health Camp for Senior Citizens at Kamla Buxi Old Age Home
Date: May 2025
At Pehla Kadam Ek Umeed, we believe that every stage of life deserves dignity, care, and compassion. Continuing our commitment to community healthcare, our team successfully organized a Free Health Check-up Camp for senior citizens at Kamla Buxi Old Age Home, Rohini Sector-16, Delhi.
The camp was conducted from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the objective of providing essential preventive healthcare services to elderly residents who often face challenges in accessing regular medical check-ups.
Comprehensive Health Screening
During the camp, experienced healthcare professionals conducted a series of free health examinations, including:
- Blood Pressure (BP) Check-up
- Blood Sugar Testing
- Eye Examination
- Ear Check-up
These screenings helped identify potential health concerns at an early stage while offering residents valuable medical guidance for maintaining their overall well-being.
Distribution of Free Spectacles
As part of the initiative, free spectacles were distributed to senior citizens who required vision support. This small yet meaningful step aims to improve their daily lives by enhancing mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Healthcare is not only about treatment but also about ensuring that every individual feels cared for and respected. Through initiatives like these, Pehla Kadam Ek Umeed strives to bring quality healthcare services directly to communities that need them the most.
Serving with Compassion
The camp witnessed active participation from the residents of Kamla Buxi Old Age Home and was made possible through the collective efforts of our dedicated volunteers, healthcare professionals, and supporters.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the management of Kamla Buxi Old Age Home for their cooperation and hospitality. We also thank every volunteer and medical professional who generously contributed their time and expertise to make this initiative successful.
